Nav's Boy and Monkey Banana were slow to begin.  Highfield Ella and How Bizarre collided soon after the start.  Nav's Boy, Highfield Ella, Devil's Mate and Honey Girl collided on the first turn checking Devil's Mate and Honey Girl and severely checking Highfield Ella and Monkey Banana.  Highfield Ella and Monkey Banana collided on the home turn.  Highfield Ella marred the running of Monkey Banana several times in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds; both greyhounds tailed off as a result.  Cool Lois checked off To A Degree in the home straight.

Highfield Ella was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Tait, the trainer of the greyhound Highfield Ella regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Highfield Ella with marring.  Mr. Tait pleaded guilty to the charge.  Highfield Ella was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Monkey Banana was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A sample was taken from To A Degree, the winner of the event.

Kimanator was quick to begin.  Sherry Baby, Karaoke Ken and Milly O'Muffin collided soon after the start checking Sherry Baby.  Light Feathers crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Karaoke Ken, All Prancer and Mrs. Fozz.  Sir Murray checked off All Prancer on the first turn.  Karaoke Ken and All Prancer collided in the back straight. Sherry Baby and Milly O'Muffin collided in the back straight and on the second turn, checking Sherry Baby.    Sherry Baby checked off Mrs. Fozz in the home straight.

All Prancer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to its right hind foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Milly O'Muffin was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A sample was taken from Sir Murray, the winner of the event.

Flame On Rocks, Bobby Serrano and Chloe's Entity were slow to begin.  Bonfire Storm and Rebel Commander collided approaching the first turn checking Bonfire Storm.  Flame On Rocks, Chloe's Entity and Bobby Serrano collided on the first turn checking Bobby Serrano and Chloe's Entity.  Bonfire Storm raced wide on the home turn.  Eumeralla Fiona checked off Chloe's Entity in the home straight.

Lucilla was quick to begin.  All Bolts crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Bekim Nikita, Mystique Speedy and Lever Action.  Deep Rock, Star Shaker, Lever Action and Bekim Nikita collided on the first turn.  Star Shaker and Lever Action collided entering the back straight checking Star Shaker and severely checking Deep Rock which fell as a result.  Bekim Nikita checked off Molly Brown entering the home straight.  Lucilla checked off Lever Action in the home straight.

Deep Rock was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Star Shaker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Slipaway Simba and Chantilly Magic were slow to begin.  Red Bomber and Slick Sam collided soon after the start.  Mr. Alouette and Slick Sam collided on the first turn checking Slick Sam.  Red Bomber checked off Slick Sam on the first turn checking Slipaway Simba.  Slipaway Simba, Red Bomber and Lady Marlow collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Slipaway Simba checked off Slick Sam in the home straight.

Red Bomber was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mechatronic was quick to begin.  Kevaud's Girl was slow to begin.  Hook Him In and Be Hopeful collided soon after the start.  Mademoiselle Sox checked off Fiery Fox approaching the first turn.  Kaylarikki, Be Hopeful and Hard Merchandise collided on the first turn checking Be Hopeful.  Kaylarikki checked off Hard Merchandise on the first turn.  Mademoiselle Sox and Hard Merchandise collided in the back straight.  Mademoiselle Sox and Kaylarikki collided on the second turn checking Kaylarikki.

Flying Hannah and Smart Strike were slow to begin.  Just A Dot crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Smokey Whispers, Nitro Whispers and Slipaway Jenifer.  Nitro Princess and Smokey Whispers collided in the back straight.  College Graduate checked off Just A Dot approaching the home turn.  Just A Dot and Smart Strike collided on the home turn.  Smokey Whispers checked off Nitro Princess in the home straight.  Smokey Whispers checked off Slipaway Anna approaching the winning post.

L. Iredale, trainer of Tycoon Diamond redeclared a new weight of 33.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Tycoon Diamond last raced at 34.8kg.

M. Fox, trainer of Mott Haven redeclared a new weight of 31.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Mott Haven last raced at 30.0kg.

Claretown Snowy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

L. Fulford, trainer of Jayded Crisis redeclared a new weight of 29.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Jayded Crisis last raced at 30.9kgs.

Marmion Star and Aerode were quick to begin.  Corgi Cry and Mick Rydian collided soon after the start.  Dynamic Dash, Jayded Crisis and Coco Savi collided approaching the first turn checking Dynamic Dash.  Coka Bach crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Mick Rydian and Corgi Cry and severely checking Aerode.  Coka Bach, Dynamic Dash and Corgi Cry collided approaching the home turn checking Dynamic Dash.  Dynamic Dash raced wide on the home turn checking Mick Rydian.

Aerode was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted after race 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Franklin Senior was a late scratching at 11.24am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

High Alimony, Looney Lucy and Eumeralla Danny collided soon after the start checking High Alimony.  Dreaming Annie checked off Water Bag on the first turn.  Water Bag, Looney Lucy and Ledaro Dash collided on the first turn checking Ledaro Dash.

Darley Tuesday was quick to begin.  Don Fire was very slow to begin (2 lengths).  Slipaway Curly, Nitro Cru and Valentine Belle collided soon after the start checking Slipaway Curly.  Nitro Cru and Stolen Gem collided approaching the first turn checking Stolen Gem.  Slipaway Curly checked off Nitro Cru approaching the home turn and raced wide as a result.  Stolen Gem and Nitro Cru collided on the home turn checking Stolen Gem and severely checking Nitro Cru.

Nitro Cru was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
