A pre race sample was taken from Senni Socks.
Why Not George checked off Spring Alis soon after the start. Spring Alis checked off Jack's Lass on the first turn, checking Why Not George and severely checking Miss Firing. Why Not George checked off Blood Moon approaching the home turn. Why Not George raced wide in the home straight.
Blood Moon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left fibula, right pelvis and right monkey muscle injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
