Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Brouwer, the trainer of Sunshine Casey regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Sunshine Casey last raced on 9th February 2016. Mrs. Brouwer stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an injury to the left triangle muscle.
A pre-race sample was taken from No Worries Buddy.
Woorndoo Lass went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Golden Bubsy and Sunshine Casey collided on the first turn checking Sunshine Casey. Richard Shi Quee checked off Comanche Squaw entering the home straight. Comanche Squaw and Golden Bubsy collided in the home straight.
Woorndoo Lass, which trailed the field throughout the event, was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
