Scott Speed was a late scratching at 6:29pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Power Burst.

Fashion Boots was quick to begin.  Nellie's Lad was checked off Zafonic Express soon after the start.  Nellie's Lad and Sweet Shiraz collided on the first turn checking Sweet Shiraz.  Tiger Ty Bob and Zafonic Express collided on the first turn checking Zafonic Express and Nellie's Lad.  Nellie's Lad and Sweet Shiraz raced wide in the back straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Helski Bale.

Brolly Bale, Carry On Quinney and Johnny Bullet collided soon after the start.  Helski Bale and Zall Over crossed in soon after the start checking Carry On Quinney and Johnny Bullet.  Brolly Bale crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Zall Over, Pink Rocket and Erelda Bale, causing Pink Rocket and Erelda Bale to race wide.  Carry On Quinney and Zall Over collided on the first turn.  Wadelock Cappa raced wide approaching the second turn.  Helski Bale was checked off Zall Over on the second turn.  Pink Rocket clipped the heels of Erelda Bale on the second turn checking Pink Rocket.  Johnny Bullet was checked off Zall Over in the back straight.

Following the event, the judges inadvertently displayed the incorrect numbers 2-2,  this was corrected to 5-2-1-4 prior to the all clear being given.  Judge, MIss A Wood was issued with a warning.

Alira Kate and Daintree Rhumba were slow to begin.  Moore Of Darcy crossed to the rail on the first turn causing Fear The Boss and Nero Rose to collide checking Natty Allen and Emio Bale and severely checking Daintree Rhumba which lost considerable ground and causing Hundred to fall.  Nero Rose and Moore Of Darcy collided on the second turn checking Moore Of Darcy.  Fear The Boss and Alira Kate collided approaching the home turn.  Fear The Boss and Nero Rose collided entering the home straight.

Hundred was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

A pre-race sample was taken from Let's Go Billy.

Let's Go Billy and Falcon Flies were slow to begin.  Tyrone Kahn and Every Cloud collided soon after the start.  Tyrone Kahn was checked off Soda Street approaching the first turn checking Every Cloud. Tyrone Kahn, Let's Go Billy and Falcon Flies collided on the first turn checking Let's Go Billy and Falcon Flies. It's All Bolony, Amaroo Gonzales and Soda Street collided on the first turn checking Tyrone Kahn and Soda Street and severley checking Amaroo Gonzales and Falcon Flies, Amaroo Gonzales stumbled and lost considerable ground.  Soda Street was checked off Let's Go Billy on the second turn.

Tyrone Kahn was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right flexor tendon, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lakeview Miss.

Bebington and Silky Sock were slow to begin.  Bruiser Senor and Charm Again collided soon after the start.  Lakeview Miss, Bruiser Senor and Bird Special collided approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Missile crossed out on the first turn checking Lakeview Miss, Bruiser Senor, Willowvale Storm, Bebington, Silky Sock and severely checking Bird Special.  Bruiser Senor and Willowvale Storm collided approaching the second turn.  Bebington galloped on Willowvale Storm entering the back straight.  Bird Special was checke doff Bebington in the back straight.

Silky Sock was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind foot, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Cut Loose Max was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Dr. Leonardo and Tricky Mover collided soon after the start.  Jayco Bale and American Monster collided on the second turn and again on the third turn. Bubba's Silvia and Tricky Mover collided on the third turn. Jayco Bale was checked off Mepunga Fame in the home straight checking Mepunga Fame. Tricky Mover was checked off Jayco Bale approaching the winning post.

American Monster was vetted following a fall after the finish of the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and soreness in the neck, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Andiamo Neo and Phil's In Luck were slow to begin.  Le Doyen, Sketchy Chief and Kiss My Fuji collided on the first turn checking Le Doyen.  Aston Philou was checked off Sketchy Chief in the back straight.

Our Miss Nitro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right deltoid muscle and left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Bandit's Girls and Moltisanti were quick to begin.  Black Train and Still Destined collided soon after the start and again on the first turn severely checking Black Train and Dr. Poppel.

Black Train was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left pencil muscle and left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Tiger Hugo was slow to begin.  Cosmic Coad and Wolfbane McCabe collided soon after the start checking Wolfbane McCabe.  Cosmic Coad was checked off Darcon Dash approaching the first turn checking Cosmic Coad and My Pocket Rocket.  My Pocket Rocket was checked off Cosmic Shiraz on the first turn.  Cosmic Coad, Roll 'Em Missy and Wolfbane McCabe collided on the first turn.  Pacific Secret and Darcon Dash collided approaching the home turn.  Roll 'Em Missy and Wolfbane McCabe collided approaching the home turn.  Cosmic Coad was checked off Tiger Hugo on the home turn.

Jules' Fancy and Why Not Logan were slow to begin.  Annunaki, Jules' Fancy and Cookie Rose collided soon after the start checking Jules' Fancy.  Annunaki, Cookie Rose and Why Not Logan collided on the first turn checking Californa Levo and severley checking Cookie Rose and Why Not Logan, Cookie Rose and Why Not Logan stumbled and lost considerable ground.

Kakarot was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Dr. Compulsion and Sheldon Rose were slow to beign and collided soon after the start.  Shanks Very Much and Busta Voe collided soon after the start.  Busta Voe, Harvey Leigh and Ava's Shadow collided on the first turn checking Harvey Leigh.  Harvey Leigh was checked off Ava's Shadow on the first turn.  Ava's Shadow and Busta Voe collided approaching the home turn checking Busta Voe.  Sheldon Rose was checked off Shanks Very Muxh on the home turn.
