Let's Go Billy and Falcon Flies were slow to begin. Tyrone Kahn and Every Cloud collided soon after the start. Tyrone Kahn was checked off Soda Street approaching the first turn checking Every Cloud. Tyrone Kahn, Let's Go Billy and Falcon Flies collided on the first turn checking Let's Go Billy and Falcon Flies. It's All Bolony, Amaroo Gonzales and Soda Street collided on the first turn checking Tyrone Kahn and Soda Street and severley checking Amaroo Gonzales and Falcon Flies, Amaroo Gonzales stumbled and lost considerable ground. Soda Street was checked off Let's Go Billy on the second turn.
Tyrone Kahn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right flexor tendon, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
