A pre-race sample was taken from Destini Wahoo upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Destini Wahoo was slow to begin. Lightning Frank, Unlocked and Duporth Avenue collided soon after the start, checking Unlocked. Lightning Frank, Got A Motor and Head Wreck collided on the first turn. Unlocked and Destini Wahoo collided on the first turn. Unlocked, Duporth Avenue and Destini Wahoo collided approaching the home turn, checking Unlocked and Destini Wahoo. Sappy Bale and Head Wreck collided approaching the home turn, checking Head Wreck, and severely checking Sappy Bale.
