Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Dr. Shiki upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Dr. Shiki was quick to begin. Zipping Vito was slow to begin.
Veetee Gun, Miss Johannsen, Silverali and Fleet return collided soon after the start. Veetee Gun faltered on the first turn and pulled up. Fleet Return checked off Zipping Vito approaching the second turn and raced wide. Trip To Eden and Silverali collided approaching hte second turn. Silverali and Fleet Return collided on the home turn. Trip To Eden and Tiny Bopper collided entering the home straight checking Tint Bopper.
Veetee Gun was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken hock and was humainly euthansed.
Meeting Details:
Stewards were advised by track curator Mr B. Skurrie that the track was medium harrowed on Monday 25th July 2016
