A pre-race sample was taken from She's Got Dash upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Dyna Gypsy was quick to begin. Dyna Boomer and Sea Fever were slow to begin.
She's Got Dash, Rosie Riccarton and What Iam Iam collided soon after the start. What Iam Iam checked off Dyna Boomer on the first turn and raced wide checking Sea Fever. Rosie Riccarton raced wide approaching the second turn checking What Iam Iam. She's Got Dash brushed the running rail approaching the second turn. Shark Fever and Aston Gisle collided on the second turn and again on the home turn. Aston Gisle, Shark Fever and Dyna Boomer collided entering the home straight. She's Got Dash and Sea Fever collided entering the home straight. Shark Fever and Dyna Boomer collided in the home straight.
