A pre-race sample was taken from Urana Woofa.
Arejay Wobbles and Urana Woofa were slow to begin. Nathan Baxter and Fat Amy collided soon after the start. Fat Amy and Merinda Hannah collided approaching the first turn. Arejay Wobbles and Urana Woofa collided on the first turn. Brooklyn Skye, Bonnie Blue and Wild Josh collided approaching the home turn severely checking all three greyhounds; Bonnie Blue pulled up as a result. Fat Amy and Merinda Hannah collided approaching the home turn checking Merinda Hannah and severely checking Nathan Baxter which stumbled as a result. Arejay Wobbles and Urana Woofa collided approaching the home turn checking Urana Woofa. Fat Amy and Merinda Hannah collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Urana Woofa was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated right hind toe. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Bonnie Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left wrist. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
