A pre race sample was taken from Orange Blossom.
Showgirl Miss was quick to begin. Da Mishka and Amlin Jewel were slow to begin. Da Mishka and Tinny Time collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Ringo Dingo checked off Tekki Lightning on the first turn. Da Mishka and Amlin Jewel collided on the first turn. Ima Tomahawk galloped on the heels of Showgirl Miss on the first turn, checking Showgirl Miss. Tinny Time galloped on the heels of Orange Blossom on the first turn, checking Da Miska and Amlin Jewel and severely checking Orange Blossom which raced wide, causing Ringo Dingo and Tekki Lightning to fall.
Ringo Dindo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right wrist, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Tekki Lightning was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left and right forelegs, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
