A pre-race sample was taken from Hands To Myself upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Segovia was quick to begin. Resident Djay, Vancouver Star, Buddy Goode, Hands To Myself and King Farouk collided soon after the start, checking Buddy Goode and King Farouk. Vancouver Star and Mepunga Laser collided on the first turn. Hands To Myself and King Farouk collided entering the home straight. Resident Djay and Mepunga Laser collided entering the home straight.
