Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr J.Stavropoulos, the trainer of Come On Lassy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Come On Lassy last raced on 20th March, 2016. Mr Stavropoulos stated that Come On Lassy is returning to racing from a right hock injury.
Hell On Wheels, Eddie Yap and Hollywood Jones were quick to begin. Hollywood Jones and Come On Lassy collided soon aftre the start checking Come On Lassy. Hell On Wheels and Upper Class Lad collided approaching the first turn checking Upper Class Lad. Mohinga Max and Come On Lassy collided on the first turn checking Mohinga Max. Gotta Get Back and Eddie Yap collided several times on the home turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Berry, the trainer of Upper Class Lad regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing. Stewards issued Mr. Berry with a servere reprimand.
