A pre-race sample was taken from Stealthy Swift.
Sir Fancy was slow to begin. Mighty Mish and Stealthy Swift collided soon after the start. Little Written, Bright Sky, Let's Go Billy and Magic Super collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Bright Sky, Let's Go Billy and Stealthy Swift and severely checking Magic Super and Little Written. Bright Sky and Let's Go Billy collided approaching the home turn. Magic Super galloped on the heels of Little Written approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds and causing both greyhounds to race wide. Mighty Mish galloped on the heels of Tiger Jams in the home straight checking Tiger Jams.
Little Written was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
