A pre-race sample was taken from Spy Miss.
Early Violet was quick to begin. Why Not Roy, Henry's Fault and Spy Miss collided soon after the start checking Why Not Roy which stumbled as a result. Henry's Fault and Spy Miss collided approaching the first turn. Vicki Morris crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Early Violet, Kev's Choice, Henry's Fault and Spy Miss and severely checking Mr. Chance. Early Violet and Kev's Choice collided entering the home straight checking Henry's Fault.
Mr. Chance was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left dew claw. No stand down period was imposed.
