Steward's Report

S. Bonaccurso, trainer of Hellelujah Henry redeclared a new weight of 32.7 kg in accordance with GAR 39(2). Hallelujah Henry last raced at 34.2kg.

Blazing Apache and Mad Bekim collided soon after the start. Lil' Miss Pleb and Multi King collided soon after the start. Lil' Miss Pleb and Mad Bekim collided at the 250m mark, checking Lil' Miss Pleb, Mad Bekim and Blazing Apache. Blazing Apache crossed to the outside at the 250m mark and raced wide for the remainder of the event. Hallelujah Henry and Lil' Miss Pleb collided at the 200m mark, checking Lil' Miss Pleb and Wolfbane McCabe. Mad Bekim and Hallelujah Henry collided at the 150m mark, checking Hallelujah Henry and Lil' Miss Pleb. Wolfbane McCabe and Topper Harley collided at the 100m mark.

Hallelujah Henry was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the left metacarpal, no stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Hallelujah Henry - unplaced in the event.

Stewards queried S. Bonaccurso, trainer of Hellelujah Henry after it performed below market expectations. Mr Bonaccurso stated that the greyhound was first up from an injury enforced spell (dropped back muscle), and after recieving some interference throughout the race was of the opinion the greyhound would benefit from the run. Stewards noted the comments of Mr Bonaccurso.
