Bella Bullet and Magic Success collided soon after the start. Magic Success, Valentine Belle and Maximum Melva collided approaching the first turn checking Valentine Belle. Magic Success, Maximum Melva, Tigress Eight and Snitzel Von Krum collided on the first turn checking Maximum Melva, Tigress Eight and Snitzel Von Krum. Valentine Belle checked off Snitzel Von Krum on the first turn. Tigress Eight, Snitzel Von Krum and Valentine Belle collided approaching the home turn checking Tigress Eight. Snitzel Von Krum galloped on the heels of Maximum Melva approaching the home turn severely checking Valentine Belle and Snitzel Von Krum, Maximum Melva fell as a result.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Snitzel Von Krum became dislodged during the running of the event. 

Valentine Belle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left dew claw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Maximum Melva was vetted and revetted following 4. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Snitzel Von Krum was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triceps. A 14 stand down period was imposed. 

Mr. M. Marshall, trainer of Mint Murphy redeclared a new weight of 33.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Mint Murphy last raced at 35.3kg.

Kyl's Me Mate was quick to begin. So Confused and Chevy Spark were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Cahill Magic and Platinum Emotion collided approaching the first turn. Mint Murphy, Cahill Magic and Platinum Emotion collided on the first turn checking Platinum Emotion and severely checking Mint Murphy, Cahill Magic and Chevy Spark. Mint Murphy and Cahill Magic collided approaching the home turn. Mint Murphy checked off Cahill Magic on the home turn.

Quest Bale was slow to begin.

Demon Eyes and Assertive Seer collided on the first turn checking Demon Eyes. Off The Property and Spring Patsy collided several times approaching the home turn checking Off The Property. Quest Bale and Feikuai Mack collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds. Rasha Reason and Assertive Seer collided entering the home straight. 

Off The Property was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Lenehan, the trainer of the greyhound Off The Property.  Stewards deemed the performance of Off The Property unsatisfactory in this event (approaching the winning post) and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Off The Property must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ryan Brook and About Two Months were slow to begin.

About Two Months checked off Calder Cannon entering the back straight. Ryan Brook and About Two Months collided approaching the third turn checking Ryan Brook. Duna Runa and Hashtag Yolo collided entering the home straight checking Hashtag Yolo. Ryan Brook and About To Months collided in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds.

Mepunga Ledger, Zac's A Sixpence and Ate Grand Kids collided soon after the start checking Zac's A Sixpence. Say Again, Mepunga Ledger, Zac's A Sixpence and Ate Grand Kids collided on the first turn checking Ate Grand Kids and Zac's A Sixpence. Lucky Two Lips, Mepunga Ledger and Say Again collided entering the back straight checking Mepunga Ledger and Say Again. Zac's A Sixpence checked off Ate Grand Kids in the back straight. Ate Grand Kids and Mepunga Ledger collided on the second turn checking Ate Grand Kids. Say Again checked off Besancion approaching the home turn. Besancion chcked off Lucky Two Lips in the home straight. Zac's A Sixpence raced wide in the home straight. 

Zac's A Sixpence was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Mepunga Nick and Nook And Cranny were slow to begin.

Mepunga Nick, El Chana and Nook And Cranny collided approaching the first turn checking El Chana. Nook And Cranny checked off Ricardo Bale on the first turn. Nook And Cranny and Some Tricks collided approaching the home turn severely checking Nook And Cranny. Mepunga Nick and Some Tricks collided approaching the home turn. Ricardo Bale and Agile Reason collided on the home turn. Ricardo Bale veered out and marred Agile Reason in the home straight. 

Ricardo Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right hind. No stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Dailly, the handler of the greyhound Ricardo Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Ricardo Bale with marring. Mr. G. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Ricardo Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ms. N. Tapp trainer of Noaki Buckley redeclared a new weight of 30.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Noaki Buckley last raced at 31.6kgs.

A pre race sample was taken from Chant. 

Chant, Empire Allen and Zabimaru Bale collided soon after the start checking Chant. Noaki Buckley checked off Empire Allen on the first turn. Premier Hawk, Cruisen Billy, Hawka Tron and Hello Sunshine collided approaching the home turn checking Hawka Tron, Hello Sunshine, Empire Allen, Chant and Zabimaru Bale. Cruisen Billy raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight. Noaki Buckley cramped in the home straight. 

Noaki Buckley was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound had cramped. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. N. Tapp, the trainer of the greyhound Noaki Buckley. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Feikuai Zack and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.25p.m. due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms. X. Cheng was fined the sum of $100.

Mumbles Murray was slow to begin.

Mumbles Murray checked off Specify soon after the start. Astromatic crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Boss Hustler and Dollar Wonder, Dollar Wonder to fell as a result. Boss Hustler and Specify collided approaching the home turn checking Boss Hustler. 

Boss Hustler was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Dollar Wonder was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Classic Caper was slow to begin.

Maximum Shera stumbled soon after the start. Sofa So Good crossed to the the rail approaching the first turn checking Red Hot Millions, Scunitza Speed and Play A Kazoo. Play A Kazoo and Scunitza Speed collided on the first turn checking Scunitza Speed and Classic Caper. Maximum Shera checked off Classic Caper approaching the home turn. Pierre White checked off Senor Gold approaching the home turn. Pierre White and Sofa So Good collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Classic Caper and Scunitza Speed collided approaching the home turn checking Classic Caper, Scunitza Speed and Maximum Shera.

Maximum Shera was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Road Trip Blues and Lovey were slow to begin.

Shazzle's Boy and Pyrenees Grand collided soon after the start checking Pyrenees Grand. Pyrenees Grand and Maintenance Man collided approaching the first turn checking Pyrenees Grand. Maintenance Man and Lovey collided entering the home straight. Lovey checked off Ketut's Kaput in the home straight. Pyrenees Grand and Road Trip Blues collided approaching the winning post checking Road Trip Blues. 

Yellowrock Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dropped left back muscle. A 30 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. D. Weightman regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Shazzle's Boy. Stewards directed that Shazzle's Boy be boxed first in future events.

Psychotic Bob and Red Light Runner collided soon after the start checking Psychotic Bob. Olive's Gift, Jett Setter and Uncool Albert collided soon after the start. White Macoy checked off Psychotic Bob approaching the first turn. Psychotic Bob and Jett Setter collided approaching the home turn. White Macoy and Uncool Albert raced wide in the home straight. Red Light Runner and Awesome Fear collided approaching the winning post.
