Steward's Report
Zipping Chrystal was a late scratching at 10.10am due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from It Gets Better.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 10 minutes due to a malfunction with the tractor whilst grading the track.
Two Time, Alira Kate and Really Magic collided soon after the start checking Alira Kate and Really Magic. Elram Girl, Two Time and It Gets Better collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Galester Hook and Vienna Black collided approaching the home turn. Alira Kate raced wide in the home straight.
Alira Kate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Two Time was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
