Steward's Report
Claretown Boris was a late scratching at 7:49pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to vets advice. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Mark's Boy checked off Proven May soon after the start. Mark's Boy crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Fab's Fury, and severely checking Down In Mexico. Proven May and Down In Mexico collided on the first turn. Bell Bale and Take Fright raced wide in the home straight.
Down In Mexico was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Take Fright became dislodged during the running of the event.
