Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr D.Sheridan, the trainer of Ram Raider regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ram Raider last raced on 14 March, 2016. Mr Sheridan stated that the greyhound was returning from a right wrist injury.
Ram Raider, Quick Cillision and Spritely Julia were slow to begin. Gunmetal Angel crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Mate, Evening Fawlty and Kraken Zuri. Spritely Julia galloped on the heels of Kraken Zuri on the first turn checking Kraken Zuri and severely checking Evening Fawlty and Spritely Julia. Mate raced wide on the home turn. Quick Collision checked off Ram Raider in the home straight.
Ram Raider was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
