Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr G.Euvrard, the trainer of Cheese Delight regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cheese Delight last raced on 19 December, 2015. Mr Euvrad stated that the greyhound was returning after an extended spell.
Queen Elsa and Janray Anolajean were quick to begin. Cheese Delight, Seabrook Gem and Wilora were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Cheese Delight. Dark Corgi checked off Blue And Cool soon after the start. Janray Anolajean checked off Ruby Rads on the first turn checking Wilora and Seabrook Gem and severley checking Cheese delight and Janray Anolajean. Cheese Delight and Janray Anolajean collided on the home turn checking Cheese delight. Queen Elsa checked off Seabrook Gem in the home straight. Cheese delight lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.
Cheese Delight was vetted and re-vetted following race 4. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right groin injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
