A pre race sample was taken from Quink.
Paper Cuts and Nods One were slow to begin. Quink crosssed to the rail soon after the start checking Hurry Up Chief and Taltarni Shiraz. Quink and Amon Flyer collided approaching the first turn checking Amon Flyer and Hanga. Hanga galloped on the heels of Amon Flyer on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Hurry Up Chief, Amon Flyer and Hanga collided approaching the home turn checking Hurry Up Chief and severely checking Nods One which stumbled. Amon Flyer and Hanga collided on the home turn. Hurry Up Chief and Nods One raced wide entering the home straight.
