Stewards spoke to Mr G.Euvrard, the trainer of Cheese Delight regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cheese Delight last raced on 19 December, 2015. Mr Euvrad stated that the greyhound was returning after an extended spell.

Queen Elsa and Janray Anolajean were quick to begin. Cheese Delight, Seabrook Gem and Wilora were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Cheese Delight. Dark Corgi checked off Blue And Cool soon after the start. Janray Anolajean checked off Ruby Rads on the first turn checking Wilora and Seabrook Gem and severley checking Cheese delight and Janray Anolajean. Cheese Delight and Janray Anolajean collided on the home turn checking Cheese delight. Queen Elsa checked off Seabrook Gem in the home straight. Cheese delight lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.

Cheese Delight was vetted and re-vetted following race 4. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right groin injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Fred's My Name was quick to begin. Fipa Narchi and Jack The Fipa were slow to begin and collided several times soon after the start. Mini Morgo, General Remus and Fred's My Name collided on the first turn checking Mini Morgo and General Remus. Speedcar Skip and Proven Malibu collided on the first turn checking Speedcar Skip. Rosie's Gift and Fipa Narchi collided approaching the second turn checking Rosie's Gift and General Remus. Fred's My Name, Fipa Narchi and Jack The Fipa collided on the second turn checking Fred's My Name and Jack The Fipa. Rosie's Gift, General Remus and Speedcar Skip collided on the second turn checking General Remus and Speedcar Skip. Stewards spoke to Mr D.Sheridan, the trainer of Ram Raider regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ram Raider last raced on 14 March, 2016. Mr Sheridan stated that the greyhound was returning from a right wrist injury.

Ram Raider, Quick Cillision and Spritely Julia were slow to begin. Gunmetal Angel crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Mate, Evening Fawlty and Kraken Zuri. Spritely Julia galloped on the heels of Kraken Zuri on the first turn checking Kraken Zuri and severely checking Evening Fawlty and Spritely Julia. Mate raced wide on the home turn. Quick Collision checked off Ram Raider in the home straight.

Ram Raider was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Lana Lass and Dolce Gusto were quick to begin. Bruzzy Boucheau was slow to begin. All Inn Summer checked off Angel Og Glory soon after the start. All Inn Summer and Lana Lass collided in the back straight. Angel Of Glory and Tophat And Tails collided approaching the second turn. Angel Of Glory and Before My Time collided on the second turn checking Before My Time. Baroness Jill and Lana Lass collided on the home turn checking Baroness Jill. Angel Of Glory and Tophat And Tailes collided several times on the home turn and entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

A post race sample was unable to be obtained from Dolce Gusto, winner of the event - a blood sample was subsequently taken.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Fisher, the trainer of Angel Of Glory regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Following the event, Stewards were informed by kennel staff that Angel of Glory had vomitted in its kennels. The OTV attended and inspected the kennel along with a Grv Steward. It was discovered that a tablet had been regurgitated. This substance was collected for testing and further analysis.  Steward's directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Angel of Glory Mr Ron Fisher in regards to the matter and opened and adjourned an inquiry to be held at a later date.

Ayden Jackson and Initial Factor were slow to begin. Danny Brook and All Inn Together collided soon after the start checking Danny Brook. All Inn Together and Flying Marcia collided approaching the first turn checking All Inn Together. Flying Marcia, Nero Joe and India Pale collided in the back straight checking Flying Marcia and India Pale. Initial Factor raced wide in the back straight. India Pale checked off Flying Marcia on the second turn checking Initial Factor. Initial Factor and India Pale collided in the home straight checking India Pale. All Inn Together and Midfielf Maestro collided approaching the winning post.

Highfield La La checked off La Flair on the first turn checking Horey's Girl, Burst Of Magic and Cullquin Peachy. Dortmunder checked off La Flair on the second turn. Kiwi Invasion and La Flair collided on the home turn. Kiwi Invasion and Highfield La La collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr P.Gabriel, the trainer of Faith No Fear regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Faith Fear last raced on 31 January, 2016. Mr Gabriel stated that the greyhound was new to the kennels.

Mr. P. Dundon, trainer of Stetson Quamby declared a new weight of 29.2K for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Stetson Quamby last raced at 30.8kg.

Miss Briony and Velvet Hammer were slow to begin. El Chapo and Stetson Quamby collided soon after the start checking El Chapo. Umiko Bale and Coogan's Regret collided approaching the first turn checking Umiko Bale. Pason Sander, El Chapo and Coogan's Regret collided in the back straight checking El Chapo. Faith No Fear and Stetson Quamby collided on the second turn checking Stetson Quamby and Pason Sander. Velvet Hammer and Pason Sander raced wide in the home straight.
