Dr. Illuminate was quick to begin. Candy Rose and Dr. Gidget were slow to begin. Happy Colour crossed out soon after the start checking Direct Deal. Direct Deal and Weekend In Paris collided soon after the start checking Weekend In Paris. Dr. Kestrel and Mignon collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Kestrel. Happy Colour and Dr. Kestrel collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Kestrel. Weekend In Paris was checked off Happy Colour on the first turn. Dr. Kestrel was checked off Candy Rose approaching the second turn. Dr. Gidget faltered approaching the second turn and subsequently tailed off. Mignon and Candy Rose collided on the third turn.
