Flashy Arrow was slow to begin. Black Ranger, All Inn Black and Velo Galore collided approaching the first turn, checking Black Ranger and Velo Galore. Black Ranger checked off Velo Galore on the first turn. All Inn Black and Stagger collided on the first turn, checking Stagger and severely checking Flashy Arrow which fell as a result. Stagger checked off Black Ranger approaching the home turn. Velo Galore raced wide on the home turn. Suki Suki and Final Bid collided entering the home straight. Black Ranger and Stagger collided in the home straight.
Flashy Arrow was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left and right hind and soreness to the left pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
