Dark Corgi, Environmentalist and Eumeralla Fiona collided on the first turn, checking Fire Stoker, Environmentalist and Eumeralla Fiona. Fire Stoker and Tekki Will Power collided approaching the home turn, checking Tekki Will Power. Environmentalist raced wide on the home turn. Eumeralla Fiona was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wound to the left hind. No stand down period was imposed.

Noddy's Knocka was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent inury found. Trainer, Mr F. Meyer declined a re-vet.

Stewards spoke to Mr F. Meyer, the trainer of the greyhound Noddy's Knocka regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Noddy's Knocka with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Meyer pleaded guilty to the charge, Noddy's Knocka was found guilty and was suspended for 28 days at Horsham and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr W. Frankling, the handler of Eumeralla Fiona regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.

Tallinn was quick to begin. Tredgar was slow to begin. Tredgar checked off Dynamic Dash soon after the start. Tallinn and Infinite Senor collided approaching the first turn. Tredgar, Dynamic Dash, Simply Elusive, Bohdi Sage and Jim Trott collided on the first turn, severely checking Simply Elusive and Dynamic Dash. Tallinn and Infinite Senor collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Tallinn. Tallinn and Jim Trott collided on the home turn. Tredgar checked off Hoi Polloi entering the home straight. Infinite Senor and Hoi Polloi collided in the home straight.

Just A Dot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to both front legs and soreness to the left pencil  muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

All Inn Amy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the back muscle and spike wounds to the left hind, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Flashy Arrow was slow to begin. Black Ranger, All Inn Black and Velo Galore collided approaching the first turn, checking Black Ranger and Velo Galore. Black Ranger checked off Velo Galore on the first turn. All Inn Black and Stagger collided on the first turn, checking Stagger and severely checking Flashy Arrow which fell as a result. Satisfactory Trial Result

Lord Kitchener trialled over the 410m from box 1, weight 31.7kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four of starters. The time of the trial was 23.85, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6 lengths. Lord Kitchener was cleared.
