Achtung Baby and Little Spamgo were slow to begin.
Ulara Bale (racing manners in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination. It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right gracilis muscle and dislayed signs of thumps. Stewards spoke to Trainer - Ms. Brenda Kinder, regarding the racing manners of Ulara Bale in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Ulara Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Kinder pleaded not guilty to the charge. Ulara Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
