A pre-race urine sample was taken from Cherry Red.
Tess Cabang was quick to begin.
Tess Cabang (faltered turning off the back straight subsequently tailing off), underwent a post–race veterinary examination. It ws reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right sartorius muscle and left and right tenor fascia lata muscles. A 28 day stand down priod was imposed.
