Tiles And Wine, Soda Turkey and Dr. Nash were slow to begin.
Tiles And Wine contacted the running rail on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist laceration. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Dr. Nash faltered and lost ground in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind back muscle and triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Archer Nine - the winner of the event.
