Sheoak Mazuri, Eaglehawk Yap and Bounda's Storm collided approaching the home turn checking Bounda's Storm. Sheoak Mazuri and Tantra Taz collided approaching the home turn. Sheoak Mazuri raced wide on the home turn checking Eaglehawk Yap and Tantra Taz. Tantra Taz checked off Sheoak Mazuri in the home straight.
Satisfactory Trial Results -
Miss Nicastro trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 24.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.82, the greyhound won by a margin of 4 lengths. Miss Nicastro was Cleared.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Troy Jacques regarding his failure to have the greyhounds Steelvision and Da Game cleared for racing prior to the greyhounds being nominated. Stewards issued Mr Jacques with a severe reprimand. In determining penalty Stewards took into account the fact that the greyhounds had raced in a Qualifying trial and their nominations had been accepted for today's meeting.
