A pre-race sample was taken from Connor's Rocket.
Lonesome Boy, Express Pace and Shanlyn Jed were slow to begin. Lonesome Boy and Express Pace collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Zelemar Storm and Sir Charleton collided on the first turn severely checking Connor's Rocket causing Zelemar Storm and Sir Charleton to fall. Lonesome Boy checked off Express Pace on the second turn.
Zelemar Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Sir Charleton was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Connor's Rocket was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
