Banana Blanket, Apatchy Bro, Diamond Minx and Tekki Tremor collided soon after the start checking Anika Bale, Banana Blanket and Diamond MInx.  Cruisy Limelight checked off Tekki Tremor on the first turn and fell as a result.  Anika Bale eased in the home straight and tailed off.

Anika Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Coulson, the representative of the greyhound Anika Bale regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Anika Bale with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge.  Anika Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted

Fatboy Norm was slow to begin.  Victory Cruise and Mecha Bale collided soon after the start checking Mecha Bale.  Zany Bale checked off Big Barking Bert on the first turn checking Iona Boom Boom.  Fatboy Norm and Silvertop collided several times approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Mecha Bale checked off Iona Boom Boom approaching the home turn.  Victory Cruise and Big Barking Bert collided in the home straight.

Yarn Bale, Punk Star Lass and Black Macoy collided soon after the start checking Yarn Bale and causing Punk Star Lass to fall.  Quiver Bale, Bluey's Dilema and Bolt On collided approaching the first turn.  Bluey's Dilema and Bolt On collided several times on the first turn, approaching the home turn and on the home turn.  Bolt On, Black Macoy and Bluey's Dilema collided in the home straight checking Black Macoy and Bluey's Dilema.

Punk Star Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Yoko was slow to begin.  Hoover Jack and Cruiser's Sol collided soon after the start.  Cruiser's Sol checked off Hurricane Ash approaching the home turn.

A sample was taken from Tambay Bale, the winner of the event.

Margins was slow to begin.  Margins checked off Owen Bale on the first turn and collided with Highbury.  Rylee's Marshall and Owen Bale collided on the first turn.  Margins checked off Rylee's Marshall in the home straight.

Next Grange was slow to begin.  Dozer Tron and Senorita Daphne collided soon after the start.  Senorita Daphne and Texan collided approaching the first turn checking Senorita Daphne.  Next Grange, Kraken Conan and Texan collided approaching the home turn checking Next Grange, Kraken Conan, Texan and Senorita Daphne.  Senorita Daphne and Kraken Conan collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Dozer Tron and Mar Wah collided in the home straight.

Kraken Conan was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to its left hind toe.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Sofa So Good, Banged Up Bill, Enjoy Cruising and Santa's Special collided approaching the first turn checking Banged Up Bill and Enjoy Cruising.  Santa's Special, Enjoy Cruising and Rylee's Bandit collided on the first turn checking Enjoy Cruising and Santa's Special.  Enjoy Cruising checked off Santa's Special in the home straight.

Gracas King was slow to begin.  Lektra Luther, Hard Urned Burst, Slambam and Ketut's Kaput collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds.  Lektra Luther, Slambam and Ketut's Kaput collided on the first turn severely checking Ketut's Kaput; Lektra Luther and Slambam fell as a result.

Lektra Luther was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Slambam was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to its left metatarsal.  No stand down period was imposed.

Ketut's Kaput was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lektra Cooked and Pobblebonk were slow to begin.  Lektra Cooked and Kosi Can collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  All For Nothing, Klaus Bale, Where's Exford, Ima Lonley Boy and McLanahan collided approaching the first turn checking Klaus Bale and McLanahan.  Ima Lonely Boy checked off Where's Exford approaching the home turn checking McLanahan.  Pobblebonk checked off Where's Exford in the home straight and raced wide as a result.

Governor Bale was slow to begin.  Tekki China and Oaklands collided soon after the start.  Elite Watch and Mighty Sprite collided soon after the start.  Immortal Bear, Tekki China, Hurricane Yella and Governor Bale collided on the first turn checking Tekki China, Hurricane Yella and Governor Bale.  Mighty Sprite and Elite Watch collided approaching the home turn checking Mighty Sprite and Oaklands.  Tekki China and Governor Bale collided on the home turn.  Mighty Sprite and Oaklands collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Hurricane Yella was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left hind toe.  A 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Magic Meehan was quick to begin.  Peregon Flyer and Southwood King collided soon after the start.  Exit Zero and Eyes Adorable collided approaching the first turn.  I'll Rob Ya checked off Eyes Adorable approaching the first turn checking Kanga Kel and Eyes Adorable.  Peregon Flyer checked off Southwood King on the first turn.  Kanga Kel and Eyes Adorable collided on the home turn and again in the home straight checking Eyes Adorable.
