Steward's Report
A urine sample was taken from Minter Shine upon arrival at the course.
A pre–race urine sample was taken from Invictus Blue.
Paw Harris and Tara's Lily were slow to begin.
Paw Harris was checked turning out the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg spike wound injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards conferred with the judges regarding the margin and finishing times for second and third between Minter Shine and Tara's Lily. A margin was visible in the photo finish image with the actual finishing time for Minter Shine 30.1877 compared to 30.1884 for Tara's Lily. However, as FastTrack is limited to displaying three decimal places, both times were automatically rounded to 30.188, and as such no margin is displayed in FastTrack.
