Steward's Report
Paw Alexis – Late scratching at 9.58am by Order of Stewards due to LR 47A 1.2 (Frequency of Starts). No stand down period was imposed.
Mayan Chief was severely checked in the back straight and subsequently fell, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Paw Nile was severely checked turning out of the home straight and subsequently fell, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg radius/ulna fracture injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track from the first turn to the back straight and deemed it suitable for racing.
