Light 'Ém Up, Crackerjack Bob, Immortal Panther and Renberg were slow to begin. Willowvale Vixen faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off as a result. Renberg was checked off Immortal Panther on the first turn. Light 'Ém Up and Audacious Sprite collided approaching the home turn checking Audacious Sprite. Hermoso and Just Bling It collided approaching the home turn checking Hermoso. Immortal Panther and Renberg collided on the home turn. Renberg raced wide in the home straight.
Audacious Sprite was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right groin and right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Willowvale Vixen was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 3, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left and right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Anthony Flores the trainer of the greyhound Willowvale Vixen. Stewards seemed the performance of Willowvale Vixen unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Willowvale Vixen must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
