Steward's Report
Mr. Jordon Carrodus-Nagy the trainer of Hello Billy redeclared a new weight of 32.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Hello Billy last raced at 30.6kg.
The start of this event was delayed due to fireworks in the area.
King Gibbo was quick to begin. Hello Billy and Pure Gassed were slow to begin. Buckle Up Louis, Rozehill Maisie and Joe Handson collided soon after the start. Joe Handson was checked off Rozehill Maisie on the first turn checking Black Pretence, Drum Grohl and Hello Billy. Buckle Up Louis and Pure Gassed collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Black Pretence raced wide on the home turn. Drum Grohl, Buckle Up Louis and Pure Gassed collided approaching the winning post.
Meeting Comments:-
Re-vetted greyhound - Explosive Angel was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was cleared to race. Acting under GAR 83 Stewards directed that a urine sample be taken from the greyhound.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Correy Grenfell and issued him with a warning regarding his failure to produce his registration licence (LR 16.2)
