Steward's Report
Lemon Patchwork and Smash It were slow to begin. He's Schmick and Sharina Thunder collided soon after the start. Black Gypsy, He's Schmick and Sharina Thunder collided several times at the 300m mark, checking Black Gypsy and He's Schmick. Lemon Patchwork eased and collided with He's Schmick at the 50 metre mark.

Stewards spoke to M Collyer, the trainer of the greyhound Lemon Patchwork regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50 metre mark. Lemon Patchwork was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, achilles and calf, a 21 day stand down was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Lemon Patchwork with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). M Collyer pleaded guilty to the charge. Lemon Patchwork was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
