Watta Genius was slow to begin.  Bull Elephant and Bondi Buddy collided soon after the start.  Carbon Panther and Barada collided soon after the start.  That's The Plan and Hunting Coaruax collided at the 250m mark.  Carbon Panther crossed to the outside at the 250m mark.  Bull Elephant and Bondi Buddy collided at the 250m mark.  That's The Plan and Hunting Coaruax collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark, checking Hunting Coaruax.

Queen Elma, Runnin' On Gas and Forbidden Planet were slow to begin.  Forbidden Planet and Warby Gunner collided soon after the start.  Runnin' On Gas, Forbidden Planet and Warby Gunner collided at the 300m mark, checking Warby Gunner and severely checking Forbidden Planet, which tailed off as a result.  Simply Maybe and Runnin' On Gas collided at the 250m mark, and again at the 200m mark.  Queen Elma checked off Troy's Verdict at the 150m mark.  Cigar Sam checked off Derby Girl approaching the winning post.

Forbidden Planet was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained lower back soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

El Mania was quick to begin.  Veetee Dynamite and Flying Paddy collided soon after teh start.  Roman Baroque crossed to the rail at the 250m mark and collided with Mercury Benz, checking Ledaro Dash, Diamond Minx, Mercury Benz and Roman Baroque.  Veetee Dynamite checked off Flying Paddy at the 250m mark.  Veetee Dynamite and El Mania collided at the 200m mark.  Ledaro Dash and Mercury Benz collided at the 150m mark.  Mercury Benz checked off Diamond Minx at the 50m mark.

Rance Regstrong, Pure Mayhem, Jingellic and Southwood Laura were slow to begin.  Loves It and Miss Geeves collided soon after the start.  Rance Regstrong, Jingellic and Southwood Laura collided at the 250m mark.  Miss Geeves checked off Loves It at the 200m mark and crossed to the rail, checking Rance Regstrong and Jingellic.  Jingellic and Southwood Laura collided at the 150m mark.  Rosetta's Junior and Jingellic collided at the 100m mark, checking Rosetta's Junior.

Stewards spoke to Mr W Wilson, trainer of Loyal Son, regarding his lateness to kennelling which resulted in the kennels closing 8 minutes late.  Stewards issued Mr W Wilson with a severe reprimand.

Toy Tsunami went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Pollos Hermanos, Real Baroque and Classique collided at the 200m mark, checking Real Baroque and Classique.

M Galea, trainer of Freddo Pedro redeclared a new weight of 35.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Freddo Pedro last raced at 33.7kgs.

Awesome Grunt and Vintage Warrior collided soon after the start.  Release The Heat, Morson Senor and Terrorizer collided soon after the start.  Awesome Grunt and Freddo Pedro collided at the 300m mark.  Freddo Pedro and Terrorizer collided at the 100m mark.

Snowy Benz crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Uno Krypto and El Grand Kara.  Peejay and Erratic Lord collided soon after the start. Erratic Lord and El Grand Kara collided at the 300m mark.  Erratic Lord checked off Peejay at the 300m mark.  Snowy Benz and El Grand Kara collided at the 100m mark.  Peejay, Snowy Benz and El Grand Kara collided approaching the winning post.

Lemon Patchwork and Smash It were slow to begin.  He's Schmick and Sharina Thunder collided soon after the start.  Black Gypsy, He's Schmick and Sharina Thunder collided several times at the 300m mark, checking Black Gypsy and He's Schmick. Lemon Patchwork eased and collided with He's Schmick at the 50 metre mark.

Stewards spoke to M Collyer, the trainer of the greyhound Lemon Patchwork regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50 metre mark.  Lemon Patchwork was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, achilles and calf, a 21 day stand down was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Lemon Patchwork with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  M Collyer pleaded guilty to the charge.  Lemon Patchwork was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Concentrate, Ernie Old, Fear Me Roar and About To Peak were slow to begin.  Final Deception checked off Fear Me Roar and crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Shazzle's Boy and Wia Good collided at the 250m mark.  Cavalia, About To Peak and Fear Me Roar collided at the 100m mark.  Wia Good checked off Sazzle's Boy at the 100m mark.

Concentrate was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Star Lomar and Southwood Denis were slow to begin.  Southwood Denis and Essentially collided soon after the start, checking Essentially which stumbled as a result.  Star Lomar, Southwood Denis and Essentially collided soon after the start, checking Star Lomar and Southwood Denis.  Star Lomar galloped on the heels of Essentially at the 200m mark, checking Essentially.  Tzar Norma, Go Go Danni, Essentially and Magic Kara collided at the 150m mark, checking Go Go Danni, Essentially and Magic Kara.

Essentially was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Fawn Kara was a late scratching at 11.21am due to split webbing (GAR 23).  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Southwood Alice and Kallara Tipene collided soon after the start.  Puzzle And Me and Soldier Spy collided soon after the start.  Kallara Tipene, Dozer Lad and Puzzle And Me collided approaching the 250m mark.  Kallara Tipene and Dozer Lad collided at the 250m mark, checking Kallara Tipene.  Puzzle And Me and Precious Prize collided at the 50m mark.

J Uglietta, trainer of Rosetta Caprici redeclared a new weight of 26.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Rosetta Caprici last raced at 25.3kgs.

R Colpoys, trainer of Forheza redeclared a new weight of 33.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).Forheza last raced at 31.9kgs. 

Tilly's Tempa and Dollar Chips collided soon after the start.  Seabrook Snow and There For Me collided soon after the start.  Coffee Otis and Rosetta Caprici collided at the 300m mark.  There For Me and Forheza collided several times from the 200m mark until the 100m mark, checking There For Me.  Rosetta Caprici and Tilly's Tempa collided at the 150m mark.
