El Mania was quick to begin. Veetee Dynamite and Flying Paddy collided soon after teh start. Roman Baroque crossed to the rail at the 250m mark and collided with Mercury Benz, checking Ledaro Dash, Diamond Minx, Mercury Benz and Roman Baroque. Veetee Dynamite checked off Flying Paddy at the 250m mark. Veetee Dynamite and El Mania collided at the 200m mark. Ledaro Dash and Mercury Benz collided at the 150m mark. Mercury Benz checked off Diamond Minx at the 50m mark.
