Steward's Report
Fernando Duke was slow to begin.
Maia (checked and subsequently fell entering the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions and contusions to both hind legs. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Fernando Phil underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left hind split webbing. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Paw Oswald - the winner of the event.
