Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Lenaghan.
Blonde Mustang was quick to begin. Aston Cooper and Lenaghan were slow to begin.
Inter Buzz Along (checked at the 100m mark and lost ground) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left back muscle and right monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Ms. Susan Shearer regarding the racing manners of Our Boy Meastro over the concluding stages. After hearing submissions from Ms. Shearer, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards were of the opinion that Our Boy Maestro did not breach the rules prior to the finishing line, as such, no further action was taken.
