Steward's Report
Tinker Crystal was quick to begin. Koutaki raced wide in the home straight.
Blue Vendetta, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left gracilis muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr S Bauer regarding Blue Vendetta’s performance and racing manners on the first turn and approaching the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr S Bauer, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Blue Vendetta unsatisfactory. Blue Vendetta must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
