Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 139, out of competition urine samples were taken from Excavation (25 & 28 November), Smooth Plane (29 November) and Deadly Avenger (27 November).
Blue Kermaro – Late scratching at 11:12am when trainer Mr. Joshua Formosa reported the greyhound to be ill (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Due to the 'Parade of Champions', the start of this event was delayed by approximately two minutes.
Orli Bale and Vincent Bale were slow to begin.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Smooth Plane – the winner of the event.
