Steward's Report
Saint Xavier was quick to begin. Gina Rhode and Belair Ruby was slow to begin.
Radiation Band (visibly eased approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a thoraco lumbar injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Coulson regarding Radiation Band's racing manners approaching the finishing line. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Radiation Band was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge. Radiation Band was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
