Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from So Sudden.
My Girl Piper raced was wide in the home straight.
My Girl Piper (lost ground in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage after it became clear that a pedestrian gate in the back straight was open during the running of the event. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.
