Moraine Gloria (failed to pursue the lure on the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 5. Moraine Gloria was found to have a right fibula injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Briana Robertson-leech regarding Moraine Gloria’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Moraine Gloria was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Robertson-leech pleaded guilty to the charge. Moraine Gloria must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Chopper Juice, County Tyrone and Hold The Ice were slow to begin.

Deal Breaker (lost ground in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Another Fifty, Kayden's Cuddles and Sassy Mustang were quick to begin.

Rie Bale was quick to begin. Orson King and Sleek Monique were slow to begin.

Orson King (checked and lost ground approaching the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

My Girl Piper (lost ground in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage after it became clear that a pedestrian gate in the back straight was open during the running of the event. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.

The start was delayed by approximately two minutes due to holding for a Marburg harness race.

Mcivor Alfy and Cornhill Hustler were quick to begin. First Crack was slow to begin.

Sweet Aces was quick to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Akela Young - the winner of the event.

The start was delayed by approximately one minute due to holding for a Alice Springs Thoroughbred race.

Rusty Wheels – Late scratching at 12.42 due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. Michael Niele, was fined $100.

Majestic George and Redeemer Belle were quick to begin. Foxy Roxy and Pepperoni were slow to begin.

Fascinate Lacey (severely checked and fell turning out of the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported. 

Blackpool Winnie and Danyo's Chad were quick to begin.

It was noted that the muzzle of Usko Bale became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Mr. Jimmy Holt requested an early race endorsement for Small Heath. Stewards declined the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian.

Ashlee Girl (faltered on the first turn and subsequently pulled up) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

It was noted that the muzzle of My Girl Tori became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Tinker Dan raced wide in the home straight.
