Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter Ms. D. Robertson, did not act in any official capacity that may have, in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Lioness Eyes was quick to begin. Aston Tafari was quick to begin. Tonka Bale and Go Now were slow to begin.
Moraine Gloria (failed to pursue the lure on the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 5. Moraine Gloria was found to have a right fibula injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Briana Robertson-leech regarding Moraine Gloria’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Moraine Gloria was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Robertson-leech pleaded guilty to the charge. Moraine Gloria must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
