Steward's Report
Mr. Jimmy Holt requested an early race endorsement for Small Heath. Stewards declined the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter Ms. D. Robertson, did not act in any official capacity that may have, in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Elanga.
Bugs – Late scratching at 4:22pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to Dehydration. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Elanga was quick to begin. Ashlee Girl and Roxy Eggnog were slow to begin.
Ashlee Girl (faltered on the first turn and subsequently pulled up) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
It was noted that the muzzle of My Girl Tori became partially dislodged during the running of the event.
