General Winston and Irish Brew were quick to begin. Perfect Sal and Dream On Allan were slow to begin.
Irish Brew (faltered at the 100m mark) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left biceps injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Head Hunter - winner of the event.
