Steward's Report
Sailaway Gin was quick to begin. Out Of Charge was slow to begin.
Sailaway Gin (turned its head inwards and visibly eased at the 50m mark) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Rohan Gladman regarding Sailaway Gin's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Sailaway Gin was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Gladman pleaded guilty to the charge. Sailaway Gin was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
