Steward's Report
Exalted, My Mate Mina and Spot Fox were slow to begin.
Challis Candy (faltered and tailed off at the 200m mark) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Representative - Ms. P. Laidlay to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Challis Candy in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Exalted (faltered and tailed off at the 150m mark) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and after being revetted after Race 11, was found to be injured in the left gastrocnemius muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Representative - Mr. P. Presutto to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Exalted in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
